Joe Thacker is the ideal TV talent. Some people are just born with the confidence and conviction it takes to be in front of the lens and Joe is one of those lucky few. Working with Joe on “The Power of Jewelry” had the entire crew in tears and really opened our eyes to how passionate and genuine he is.
Texas specific promotions included The Diamond Dig with Texas Tech and the Nationally featured shotgun wedding sale that went viral on October 27th, 2016.
“Thacker Jewelry enlisted Bottom Line Black in January of 2016 as we opened our new free-standing store. In the course of the year, together, we have accomplished a great deal. Thacker’s was chosen as one of America’s Coolest Stores by In Store Magazine and locally, once again, as Best Jewelry Store and Best Jewelry Repair in Lubbock. We have seen our presence and effectiveness on Social Media increase dramatically and conservatively picked up 1100 new members in our customer base. We could not be more pleased with the quality of the video production and graphics that our new team turns out. Consequently, we have adopted the entire crew and added them all to the family tree. In short, Bottom Line “gets” Thacker Jewelry and because they do, they help us share our story and strengthen our business.”
Owner, Thacker Jewelry
Thacker Jewelry has the level of personality in their family owned jewelry store, in Lubbock, TX, that marketing teams dream of working with. They have one specific event, the Shotgun Wedding Sale, that had our production manager chomping at the bit! Both sides came together and created something magical, something viral…
Thacker Jewelry achieved national fame this year with the most successful sale in their history. An incredible team effort put Thacker’s Annual Shotgun Wedding Sale on the map! As national articles, on CNN, Fox, Yahoo, MSN and more, and countless other regional news articles put it, “Buy a Ring, Get a Gun!” When it was all said and done, it took over 7 pages of Google search results to cover all the press. Thacker Jewelry had calls coming in from people around the world, including numerous heroes from the U.S. Armed Forces.
So what all went into this sale? Oh, not much, just months of planning, an incredibly fun TV shoot to create the amazing spot below, a couple radio spots, some fun social media teaser videos, social media marketing, digital advertising, email marketing and excellent partnerships with media partners.
